How to do Registration of MDS

• An application addressed to the registrar, KSDC Bangalore
• Originals and Xerox Copies of the MDS marks cards & provisional degree certificate or convocation certificate / Xerox copy of MDS/PG/Diploma recognition letter from Ministry of Health.
• Original registration certificate issued by this council
• Demand draft (DD) for Rs.500/- drawn in the name of Karnataka State Dental Council, Bangalore. If the BDS Registration Certificate is laminated or bigger than A4 size, an additional amount of Rs 500/- should be paid towards Duplicate Certificate.
• The Candidate should register his/her name in the state Dental council within 6 months of completing the MDS Degree.  If not, they have to submit the Affidavit in explaining the reason for the delay in Registration with other required document for Registration.

What is the process to entre for admission in (MDS/BDS) top Dental colleges in Karnataka?

Step 1

Candidate must appear NEET MDS 2019 conducted by NBE

Step 2

Candidate must qualify the NEET MDS 2019 with the minimum percentile: -

For general category-minm 50 percentile required

For OBC category-minm 45 percentile required

For SC/ST category-minm 40 percentile required

Step 3

Once candidate obtained the minimum percentile he/she has to applied/register for state counselling as well MCC counselling for taking admission in deemed university

For admission in Karnataka state

• For those candidates seeking admission should fill up registration form conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) and submit the security deposited mentioned by KEA.
• After that candidates have to appeared for documents verification conducted by KEA
• Once document has been verified then candidates has to attained the Round-1 and* Round 2 counselling conducted by KEA.
• This counselling conducted only for private medical colleges for outside Karnataka residents as well as Karnataka residents
• Once candidates get allotted by KEA he/she has report the given college and deposited the admission fee for confirming his/her seats
• This process will keep continue till MOP-UP round
• It still vacancy arises after MOP-UP round then the vacant seats will be filled up the respected medical colleges according to first come first serve basis.
• Students can cancel their seats but only before the second round after second round if candidates cancel his/her admission his/her security deposit will be forfeited by the KEA and He/ She can’t attain any counselling under any circumstances but he/she is eligible for stray vacancy round.
