Adhiparasakthi Engineering College was established in the year 1984 with the blessings of the founder President His Holiness Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar in order to meet the growing demands for Engineers in the modern industries. The institution is governed by the Vice President of the ACMECT Thirumathi Lakshmi Bangaru Adigalar as chairperson and Sakthi Thiru Dr.G.B. Senthil Kumar as Correspondent.

The institution is one of the prestigious educational institutions functioning under the Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust. The institution is approved by AICTE New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University and accredited by NBA. Recently ISO 9001:2008 certificate was given by DAC.

The college was started with three undergraduates courses in the year 1984 and presently runningseven under graduate courses and ten post graduate courses. From the day of inception the college has been growing from strength to strength. The campus is spread over a wide area for accommodating spacious buildings, workshops, laboratories, computer centers, hostels and other infrastructural facilities.

A team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty guides the students in the pursuit of technological excellence and perfection. Almost all branches of our college are raised to center of excellence status and many of the faculty members are guiding research scholars with the help of this facility.
