The Doodle Room was born in June 2015.

Doodle represents free thoughts, scribbles in the time that you are free or when your thoughts are wandering. The ‘infinity circle’ in the word ‘ doodle ‘ is the symbol of limitless human expression and imagination.Human intelligence, imagination, and expression are boundless, so are the opportunities offered in The Doodle Room.

It was born out of a passion for freedom of expression for children. Two young ladies, Shalini Burman and Suman Sarawgi are the initiators who organised a spacious, colourful studio of over 2000 sq. Ft. where children can learn and play at the same time. There are trained personnel who direct and channelize young minds and bodies in creative pursuits and activities.

They see The Doodle Room as a place where we pursue activities that they always wanted to but unable to do so. So here is the place to do these activities. They act as a liaison between professionals and children. They plan the activity down to the smallest detail and translate in such a way so that they engaged in it from the beginning to the end.

Currently, their focus is theatre, ballet, art and craft, Indian classical dance, bakery, craft using simple unconventional materials. So it's a mix of conventional and unconventional training. All activities enhance the performance of children in their respective schools. They also learn to relate to other children and adults outside their usual circle of classroom and home. Skills acquired here are exposure, build positive attitudes and enhance communication skills, which are so important in the competitive world of today.

In this stress-free environment, where competition is absent, children can engage in activities of their choice in total freedom under capable and watchful teachers. A healthy live and let live environment.
